Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf 2009 revealed

Ceri Booth from Brynna has been named as Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf 2009. On Sunday 23^rd November the 22 year old beauty faced 22 other gorgeous girls in a glittering catwalk show at Coleg Morgannwg, Tonypandy.

As an intelligent and hardworking a young woman, Ceri achieved straight As at both AS level and A level, and a first class honours at Cardiff University. Since graduating Ceri ambitiously set up her own copywriting agency called The Creative Booth. The business has been a phenomenal success and within just four months she was nominated for South Wales’ Young Entrepreneur of the Year award 2008.

As Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf, Ceri will now go on to compete for the Miss Wales 2009 title in Cardiff’s International Area in July next year. Ceri is said to be shocked yet flattered to have won Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf and looks forward to representing the borough over the following year.

She adds ‘I’m so proud to be Miss Rhondda Cynon Taf. I couldn’t believe it when they called my name – it still hasn’t sunk in. It was such a lovely feeling to see all of my family crying with happiness. I have now set myself the target to raise £5,000 by July 2009 for The Joshua Foundation – the chosen charity for Miss Wales’.
