Cancellation of an Evening with Michele Mone

Due to unforeseen circumstances, RCT Business Club regretfully announces the cancellation of our evening with Michele Mone taking place at the Miskin Manor Hotel on Wednesday 25th June 2008. In its place RCT Business Club is hosting a free Networking evening at the Cross Keys Hotel, Nantgarw on Wednesday 25th June, from 5.30pm – 7:30pm. This event aims to give members the opportunity to drop in to an informal environment on their way home from a busy day at work and chat with like-minded business professionals and representatives from the Business Club team.

Mixing Business with Pleasure Successfully!!!

RCT Business Club invited businesses to attend a free evening of networking at the Cross Keys Hotel, based in Nantgarw, last month. The new edition to the RCT Business Club events programme, was an outstanding success and saw a high number businesses professionals attend. The event was open to both RCT Business club members and non-members. The session aimed to give business professionals the opportunity to drop in to an informal environment on their way home from a busy day at work, and chat with like-minded people and representatives from the Business Club team.

London 2012 expects to have around 7,000 direct contracts which, together with its suppliers, will form supply chains of around 75,000 opportunities and about £6bn worth of work. Suppliers should ensure they take advantage of a superb opportunity to be involved in the Council’s procurement projects, by meeting the Council’s buying teams face to face. The Local Supplier Development Project has organised a free ‘Meet the Buyer’ event, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council services, on March 26th 2008, at the Heritage Park Hotel. This event is a European Funded Initiative. Building relationships and winning contracts from departments within large organisations can be difficult, so this event offers a unique opportunity to bring together interested suppliers and buying departments from within the Council who will discuss their forthcoming contracts for 2008/2009. Suppliers will be able to assess their possibilities of being included in the tendering process

Businesses of all sizes and backgrounds have been commended at a prestigious ceremony organised by Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Business Club. Welsh rugby hero Gareth Edwards was guest speaker at the event, now in its second year, which recognises and awards the strides Rhondda Cynon Taf’s businesses are making. Accompanied by esteemed journalist and broadcaster Carolyn Hitt, Mr Edwards CBE led proceedings at the University of Glamorgan on Friday (January 25). The Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club Gala Award and Dinner evening was launched last year to celebrate the innovation and commitment being demonstrated. With awards for best use of e-commerce, outstanding new business, Welsh language companies and more, the event has become a way to hold up the achievement of firms as an inspiration for others.
