Bridges into Work

24 Awst 2009

Bridges into Work is a European funded project working across six areas of South Wales – Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.

The aim of the project is to support local people to gain the skills and confidence to help them move towards employment.

If you live in the areas named above, are not in full time education and are unemployed the Bridges into Work Team will offer you guidance and support to help you into employment.

With the support of a Bridges into Work Case Manager, who will be based in your locality, you will complete an Individual Learning action plan which will then lead you to a range of free courses which will enable you to gain the new skills and qualifications you need in order to progress. You can also benefit from basic skills development and Childcare provision.
